Sintel
A fourteen minute animated short with snow, fog, firelight and a lot of very dark scenes. The dark scenes are the useful part: weak encoders fall apart there and produce banding you can see from across the room.
Sintel, 2010. Blender Foundation, released under CC BY 3.0. This is the same player and the same delivery every video on fastmotion gets.
